I don't normally read sci-fy fantasy but I read the blurb for this one and thought I would try it. I really had problems with Ariel, she annoyed me from the very beginning. Here is a woman who had just been kidnapped by aliens. She is terrified, but yet she gives in right away to the main male character, Ral. Then proceeds to follow him blindly without question. I found the sex scenes rather boring, and instead of reading them I found myself skipping over them. I did like the fact that once Ral committed himself to Ariel, he stuck by that commitment, but I think that was the only part of this book that I enjoyed.
